Cloud Data Engineer - Manchester - Up to £50,000
I am working with a successful data-driven consultancy who are looking for strong Junior-Mid level data engineers to join their existing team. This company solely focus on Data and Analytics and are working with some of the most reputable businesses across multi sectors - including FTSE 100 firms.
You will be joining a passionate data consultancy team, working and training with colleagues of high profiles. This is an opportunity to work client facing, building relationships with customers of stakeholder levels and support them to ensure business critical-high scale projects are completed. With this position being a consultancy you will have access to multiple cutting edge technologies including AWS/Azure/GCP.
This is a salaried position paying up to £55,000 with multiple benefits including training and development with the latest technologies, pension, holidays and up to 10% bonus. Due to the current situation this role will start off remote, however you will be office/client site based thereafter. This role is based in central Manchester with multiple travel links, including tram stops, the central bus station and is around a 5 minute walk from the Picadilly/Deansgate train stations.
- Solid experience working with one 1 or more cloud platforms - AWS/GCP/Azure
- Strong coding experience using - Python/Java/Scala/SQL
- Knowledge of native data tools or ecosystem tools - Spark/Hadoop/Kafka/Snowflake
- Understanding of SQL and No SQL database development
- Applicants to come from a Data Engineering/Development background
- Strong communication skills and expert stakeholder facing ability
