Job Description

You would be responsible for actively driving and managing all technical aspects of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Solution Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Role & Responsibilities

* Build strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff
* Collaborate across the company's departments to develop approaches and campaigns to support selling in your region
* Travel up to 50%
* Execute demonstrations and proofs of concept

Skills & Qualifications

* 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise software technical sales
* Strong Linux experience with a focus on ETL, cloud data integration, analytics applications, and big data (Hadoop ecosystem)
* Experience programming/scripting with Java, Perl, Python, Unix Shell scripts is a plus
* Need real time streaming experience (Databricks, Spark, Kafka)
* Data integration and migration experience
