Wilrijk, Antwerp - Office Based

This organization is an international provider of technical wireless solutions with expertise in smart Wi-Fi devices. They have high-level A.I to manage their devices and they already work with some of the biggest players in the industry, like Orange and AT&T, among others. Their vision is to create a world where you can connect to anyone and anything electronic in your home or to your home seamlessly, securely, and control everything intuitively. To them, the wireless in-home network is a critical component of this vision.

What they need/Job Description

They're looking for an IT System Support Specialist to act as the first contact point for IT related activities mainly for their Wilrijk-based office. The requirements are pretty basic:

➢ On-site and remote support for corporate users and business partners. You take care of the IT operations activities in coordination with the Corporate IT Team

➢ Monitoring of IT infrastructure like ISP lines, server load, etc. etc. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in managed IT platforms to meet changing user requirements.

➢ Act as the coordinator between the in-house IT team and the remote employees, vendors, and end-users. You also provide VIP support when it's needed for meetings between C-Level end-users.

➢ Develop and improve IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction. Assess IT infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet the necessary demands and use your proactive attitude to propose new ideas for the betterment of the organization.

Technically speaking, you need to have experience with:

* Technical experience with the following or similar tools/practices: Jira, Linux and Windows, Network and IP knowledge, Git, and Jenkins
* Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

The good part comes here… After they are set and established, the company wants to start migrating to the Cloud. Therefore, if you have any experience with public cloud (either AWS or Azure) and migration tools (like Jenkins or Gitlab) then you're what they are dreaming of! You can help them with their digital journey to the cloud and from a System Support Specialist, you may evolve into an Infrastructure/devOPS Engineer. Not bad, right?

What you get

First of all, you join a company with a strong work ethic that always has the well-being of its employees in mind. You join an office with a nice culture and good people, where you can achieve your career goals and a work-life balance.

After that, the chance to evolve into an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer if you wish to. Then, in addition to a very competitive salary and all the standard benefits provided in Belgium, you get to join this organization in its healthiest stage - its international expansion. They are new in Belgium so they need someone local to help them get properly in the map. So you understand how important and valuable asset you're going to be there!
