If you enjoy creating designs, preparing business cases and planning migration processes to the public cloud and if you like to learn everything about new technologies and apply them directly to projects then this role is exactly what you were looking for!
We are seeking Pre-sales Architects who can live up to our motto "Lead the way". Our ambition? To set up and maintain environments in the most cloud native possible setup. We do this by automating and capturing as much as we can in code. In addition, we redesign environments, so our customers can move their applications and workloads to Azure in the most cloud native way possible. As Pre-sales Architect you deliver an important role in the start of projects with customers.
This role is all about:
During meetings with customers, you make sure to get a good picture of the customer's problems and challenges. Based on that, you can provide some advice and ensure you make concrete, clear follow-up arrangements.
You discuss this with your sales colleagues. Then you decide who you need from the organization to help the customer. You create a strong proposal that incorporates architecture, a high-level design, a technical vision, a plan of approach, and IT and human resources cost calculations. You also ensure alignment with the operational team that will serve this customer. Together with your sales colleagues, you will convince the customer to follow this path.
If successful, you ensure quality assurance, together with the operational team. That way you can ensure the customer actually gets what we promised. Approximately 50% of your work consists of pre-sales and 50% is after-sales.
