DevOps Engineer

I'm going to take a guess and say that if you are looking through this advert, you are actively looking for new opportunities and are interested in seeing what's out there. Looking through job adverts is always a long old slug so I wanted to make this easy to read, short and snappy!

So, one of my clients who are at the heart of the Cloud community are looking for DevOps Engineers. Being established over the past 8 years and having grown massively both in size and reputation they have a fantastic foothold within the market. Their company focus is solely cloud services which overall spans across software engineering, Infrastructure services and cloud migration and deployment.

Moving on to their culture, I can't stress enough how unique and value driven my client are! Over their long growth rate (which has been notice as the leading growth rate over the past 4 years) they have a fantastic retention rate with lower than 5% staff turnover during 2018, for a growing company this is a phenomenal number! Alongside this they have full training schemes to help you grow as a person and a professional, over 80% of cloud specialists within the company have gained public cloud certifications and training whether through the company or through personal means, this is a place where you get to grow and are helped to do so!

Their clients range in size and focus giving exposure to different environments, cultures and technology usage giving you experience in different areas, throughout your career. The team here have helped some of the country's largest enterprise companies use cloud to increase revenue, efficiency and profit.

And finally, on to what they look for. Right now, we are looking to speak to any passionate, driven and motivated DevOps engineers who want to excel in what they do. As in any DevOps role (and I know from experience) the roles are diverse, different from time to time and can focus on many different things, however here, you will be utilised and valued in your area of expertise. At the same time certain parts are beneficial to the role.

* If you have experience within the operations space working on systems engineering/administration you will have a part of this team.
* If you have worked, designed or managed CI/CD pipelines, this will be a benefit.
* Do you have experience with various scripting or even development based technologies such as Jenkins, Ansible, Python or Java - This will also help!
* Cloud exposure will also come in very handy, whether this is from a private cloud environment or if you have worked with the big 3 (AWS, Azure, GCP).

What you will receive as a result of your hard work:

You will receive the full benefits package with Medical cover, Dental, Vision and 401K matches. You will gain the opportunity to grow within a progressive environment and will work on new technologies, innovative cloud based projects and also, work in an award winning company culture. What more could you want!
