Cloud Technical Support Engineer

Currently we are looking for a Cloud Technical Support Engineer for my client in Luxembourg that provides a support service for major cloud platform users.

Responsibilities:

*

Provide support to customers using cloud platform products
*

Work closely with engineers and product managers to improve the product
*

Provide Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
*

Follow notification and escalation procedures
*

Work closely with internal support team to improve cloud products at a senior level

Requirements

*

3+ years of experience as a developer or big data engineer
*

Read and understand code, write code to reproduce customer problems
*

Familiar with web protocols (HTTP, TLS/SSL)
*

Programming (Java, C++, C#, Scala, Python) and scripting (Python/PHP/R)
*

Background in SQL
*

Experience with Big Data Architectures and technologies (more than 1TB of data)
*

Distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Storm, Samza, Beam)
*

Data Stores (HBase, Cassandra, Google Bigtable, Amazon Dynamo) and distributed message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon Kinesis)
*

Languages (French, English)
