Principal AWS Big Data Architect - Miami, Fl - Starting 160K



Summary:

Great new opportunity for a Principal Architect role in a established consultancy company. This client is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Principal AWS Big Data Architect to lead design and development of large data pipelines using AWS Big Data tools and services and other modern data technologies. Hands on role that will also require strong managerial skills and will also be client facing. Will be working to set the foundation, develop POCs , frameworks, and implementations.

Location: Miami, FL / REMOTE

Compensation: Starting 160K

Responsibilities:



* Build end to end Data Pipelines using AWS
* Migration of data using DMS
* Using Kinesis tools for ingestion and processing of data
* Refactoring of existing RDBMS scripts to PySpark or Scala
* Building Data warehouses
* Scripting with AWS Lambda

Requirements:



* Python, Scala, or Java experience
* Database development experience with RDBMS
* Hadoop ecosystems
* Hands-on data engineering (with AWS)

Related AWS Certifications are a plus!!



This is a great role for an individual with both technical and leadership ambitions. There is no travel requirements, it is a permanent role, and there are some remote possibilities, bringing you great stability. The sooner the availability date, the better.
