Role and Responsibilities:

* Being responsible for the configuration, administration of the cloud platform to the standards defined by IT in terms of security, resilience, scalability and supportability whilst being as commercially efficient as possible. Continually assessing infrastructure requirements and advising on new technology to meet business requirements.
* Constantly investigating ways, the "Internet of Things" (IoT) concept can be exploited to again business advantage.

* Prior experience of cloud infrastructure including including Iaas, Paas and serverless computing.
* Good technical understanding of network communication protocols (TCP/IP & HTTP) and network security (HTTPS, SSL and SFTP.)
* Familiarity with Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda or alternative
* Experience of C# and .NET development platform (E)
* Experience of SQL Server databases
* Experience of Microsoft development products (E)
* Proven experience of the software development life cycle
* Experience of working with software testing and monitoring tools
* Proven technical abilities in administering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Elastic Beanstalk or Azure cloud-based platforms and Azure DevOps
* Demonstrable scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python and Ruby
