Job Description

Need someone to have working knowledge and at least 2 years' experience hands on with Salesforce. Should have a technical background but then moved into more of a functional role. Identifying data sources not currently streaming into the data warehouse. Need to be well versed in Data itself. Passionate about data integrity. How data is going to be used to drive the business * Have had SF for a few years now but the dataset they pass back and forth is rather small. Need to obtain more and identify other sources. * Really would be helpful to have SF but could also have E-Commerce experience. * At least 5-7 years of total experience. * Looking for people who have more experience on the data management side. Salesforce or other CRM systems. * Salesforce CRM or Salesforce functional- sometimes developers that have taken on more kinds of functional roles. * Will be working heavily on the business side and interact with developers. Would prefer to have a developer who moved into more functional.



Key Responsibilities

* Resolve data quality problems: Work closely with Business counterparts to assess, fix, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used. This may involve interacting with business users to resolve data quality problems using techniques such as root cause analysis as well as collecting user requirements. Fixing the data problem may require the DMA to recommend, design, implement and monitor quality procedures for use in the data production process. It may also include data cleansing operations like removing duplicate records. * Provide quality assurance oversight of data flows and stores: Review quality of data entry, loads, transformations, extractions, merges, or other production jobs. This may also include the establishment and monitoring of service level agreements, communication protocols with data suppliers, and data quality assurance policies. * Provide data quality advisory services to the organization: Participate in cross-functional teams and development or improvement task forces. Assist other groups in database setup, design of edit checks, test plans, data quality policy decisions, etc. to ensure data quality objectives are met. * Measure data quality: Work closely with Business Counterparts to design, collect, analyze, and report on data quality assurance / production performance metrics. * Manage data quality documentation: Work closely with Business counterparts to define and maintain data standards, definitions, and models (e.g. data dictionary, organizational data model.

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's degree (preference in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related area) or equivalent experience * 8+ years' experience with combined business process, data management, BI, and multi-million dollars program management * Expert understanding of Data Management frameworks, processes and technologies as it relates to Data Profiling, Modeling/Process/Systems Mapping and overall Quality Management. * Expertise in technology including understanding of technology architecture and strategy and good numerical analytical ability * Demonstrates master competency in: understanding and correcting data discrepancies; reading and translating data models; data querying; identifying data anomalies and root cause analysis; understanding and capability to explain Data Management * Strong team player with willingness to continuously learn and collaborate across the organization * Ability to prioritize and multi task across many initiatives at the same time * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong team player with willingness to continuously learn and collaborate across the organization * Extensive experience in SQL, Data Profiling tools (e.g. Informatica IDQ, Enterprise Data Catalog) and MS Office Tools (MS Access, PowerPoint and Excel) * Ability to prioritize and multi task across many initiatives at the same time * Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently * Ability to deliver quality results on time, with high attention to detail * Ability to think at varying levels, from high-level concepts to low-level details * Ability to travel up to 25%
