One of the leading banks globally are looking to recruit an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to be based out of their Cheshire HQ, working across a range of business areas to help guide and drive a company-wide Cloud transformation.
This role will sit in a team that focuses on the delivery of a range of solutions that support the organisations contact centre operations. This is a global offering, with the team essentially providing both the architecture and engineering for solutions including voice platforms, omni-channel solutions (e.g. chat, video, messaging), integration services and desktop applications.
You will come in and help shape and influence a new technology roadmap, with your role encompassing a range of responsibilities that I have listed below:E2E Architecture Experience -
The core focus of this role will be providing E2E Architecture for a range of Enterprise-scale solutions. You will essentially be leading a team of around 5 Solutions Architects, designing and delivering solutions for their customer contact channels including telephony, webchat, video and supporting services. They are currently in the midst of moving from SOA to a Microservices-based model so exposure to either is required. Any certifications (e.g. TOGAF) would also be desirable.Cloud Experience
- Proven stakeholder management experience is crucial and a key requirement when applying for this role. You should be a strong communicator, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting as that conduit between IT and the wider business.Leadership & Management
- Whilst not being a management role in the same vein as a Development Manager or Project Manager, your role will still involve a large element of leadership so basic management skills would be useful. If you've led software development teams in the past then that is even better!
