Lead Cloud Engineer- EMEA

Whom are we looking for

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who isn't afraid to take new responsibilities in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The company keeps growing and is looking to hire highly motivated professionals with a solid Cloud experience and willingness to get involved in a broad range of activities, always based on their skills and preferences. It's an independent highly senior role, as you will be the Lead of the EMEA region, meaning that you will be organising the communication and strategy among 11 more offices in the rest of the European countries and report directly to the IT manager in the U.S.A.

Qualifications and Experience

* Extensive experience in AWS:

* Platform configuration, maintenance and support

* Cloud experience in services that include IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
* Flexibility to work with a broad range of technologies like:

* Cisco, RedHat, AIX, Windows, VMware

* Experience in MS Powershell
* Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Domain
* Support and promote the use of virtualization environments to reduce physical hardware
* Ensure supporting services are working appropriately
* Ensure ongoing disaster recovery capability
* Recommend and implement global architectural upgrades and changes

Your responsibilities

Promote standardization (using existing ITIL processes including Change Management)
* Provide regular training to Internal Support team
* Be a co-creator of long-term roadmap development for the IT Infrastructure department
* Developing communications, DR and improvement plans
* Consider on premise, SaaS, IaaS or a hybrid approach (you need to know all of the models)
* Calculating project risks and providing feedback to IT management, PMO and project sponsors
* Provide long-term upgrade plan for all the platforms
* Manage technical projects (technical teams are mostly outsourced for project needs)
* Promote the use of virtualization environments to reduce physical hardware
* Recommend and implement global architectural upgrades and changes
* Sometimes provide Tier 3 support in the hardest cases it might include (AD, Lync, Azure AD etc)
